Title: Having Trouble with game

I have been getting kicked out when I go to the hanger, selecting a plane or vehicle, and when I go to get in my plane I get kicked back to my desktop, leaving the game. :eek:

If by all that you mean...When you click to go fly your plane or whatever.

I once upon a time had the same trouble, it was because I had a corrupted art file in my C:/...whatever your path is.../Aces High/Squads folder.

I am 98% sure you should delete the files in this folder to fix your problem.

In case I am wrong though - save the files to another folder.  That way no harm done to try this fix as you can simply replce them.

A common problem lately, seems to be people backing up thier AH folders to CD, then copying them from the CD back to the hard drive.
When you do that, it leaves the files marked as read-only.  AH will crash, or other odd results, will occur when you do not go back and unset the read-only flag.

Yeah that is a good one.  I get calls all the time from people saying their backups "are messed up" due to this one.  

I started gettign people to use a zip program (I like power archiver for some reason) then just save the zip package to disk.  That why you can extract the folder and all the attributes are preserved as in the original - plus it keeps your files nice and organized if you save more than one program on a disk.
