hmm judging from the weather, I'd say south Pacific, it doesn't look like a japanesse design.

some sort of Destroyer escort or corvette, can't tell wich type though :(

pointed stern is a clue though

In the pic of the USS Ingham the back deck has nothing on it. During this time you would assume they would pack the deck w/ weapons, yet there is nothing on it. I thought of depth charges, but there are no racks or rails there.
 
 
Anyone know what this are was for?
