Title: Game exits for unknown reason
Post by: singh7 on July 03, 2003, 09:23:31 PM
Folks,

I am having problems with aceshigh just quiting for no reason. I would be flying normally and the game just completely exits. This is quite new to me - since this month I am on comcast from ATT - same servers I believe, just different names. COuld this cause a problem. Is there any way to completely reload aceshigh without loosing my settings - views, user names, password etc.....

Thanks for the help

The Settings folder is the one you'll want to back up, and the Films folder if there's stuff in there you want to save.  After you re-install AH, make sure it runs OK before you copy the backed up Settings into the Aces High folder.

This could be due to Internet connection problems to the server.  If you lose that connection, for whatever reason (some router being reset in your path to the server), then you get dumped to the desktop.
Comcast is having some problems with thier service, which could cause this.
