Title: Do P4 multithreading chips require 2 CPU XP setup?

I let a Monarch Computers build and burn in my new box (P2.8 C, Abit IC7-G mobo)

Is it correct to install the O/S (Win XP Pro) as a "virtual" 2 processor machine or is this just an option?

If so, what are the advantages, disadvantages of such a setup?

You need either XP or 2000.
Multithreading does show some advantages in certain applications, but I doubt you will notice it for playing video games.
