Now that we have a number of 'Spies' or users with multiple accounts, we need an option to permit or not permit us as being id's as a wingman. I believe (i may be wrong) that nme spies target known buff drivers with the wingman command and position themselves in optimum position to strike.
The spies cant be stopped and I can keep quiet within my countries radio, but I cant keep people from tagging me as thier wingman so they can track me with their second accont.
-
Spies are gay. We had a guy following us around the other day, stratting bases just before we took them. Go play counter strike.
-
So you really believe that this happens?
-
Oh of course it does. The Bish and Rooks used to "assign" spies to Dripsnore didn't they?
-
Im sure. But with so many reasons that an inconvienent interceptor could be in the right place at the right time why would you reach for such an unlikly one?

I know it happens. There are cash prizes available now, people are using every tactic, loophole, and dirty trick to cash in. it should be a permission status deal. What would it hurt?

Wow you milkrun stratpotatos are an interseting bunch....
-
GRUN, i'm adding you to my list of "People's furballs to pork".
(Edit) AAMOF, i'm starting one.
-
A "no wingman" setting would be very nice for KOTH; as would server side "plane icons only" or "No icons".
Icons, like perk points, are something that HTC just doesn't pay enough attention too.

Well, here we go again with the, "I cant argue, but I can take this opportunity to sucker punch a group of guys wont engage my Niki with their p47d-11" thread Hijacking.
Just answer the question, "what would it hurt?"

Using the .wingman command to screw up stratweenies and to hunt people you don't like is one of the best features in the game. I applaud HTC's forethought on the matter.

I wish it worked for the enemy :D

DMF, your opinion is noted. See below.

You could try to pork my furball, but I'll thwart you at every turn as my spies .wingman you and vector a highly trained crew of anti-lamers your way.
It'll be an exercise in brutal frustration for you, I'm afraid.

Gads! You may have won this battle, but I'll pork your furball yet!

If we were to disable the .wingman command, how else am I supposed to go out on my dweeb hunts? Without that command, I can't get my loyal legion of spies in Bishop and Rookieland to give me the positrep to vector me to my prey.

Actually I wish we could expand the .wingman thing. It would be nice if they could add a feature that allowed all people tuned to same voice channel to have .wingman highlight.
I don't spy myself, but I do cap popular bombing targets though. ( ex. Some nights all I do is orbit HQ and wait for bombers to come.) That might seem to the bomber like someone spied on him, when instead he was just being dreadfully predicatble.

People really have to learn how to use their altimeter, so they don't go off sounding like little dweebs because they can't tell the difference when someone is at 18k or 30k. You'll be very hard pressed to find me above 20k since the P-38 is prone to compressability above that alt.

How did this go from a 'wingman-by-permission' thread to a alt dweeb thread?
Btw, your vulch alt is 18k;)
