I win! no one replied! yay!
-
a Lysander?
-
finally someone will guess it again Furball, it's justa matter of time
-
yeah, probably. Dr Dweebivago will be in here soon to ruin my fun! :D
He will know what aircraft it is by the position of the rivets or something else ridiculous!
-
no more takers? :D
-
No it's not a Lysander, I'm guessing Avro Lancaster or Armstrong Whitworth aw38 Whitley.

-
need a clue? :)
-
gladiator ?
And yes please ,a clue :)
-
not even close!
Heres a small clue. It first flew in 1939.
-
good its easy its a wing of a plane :)
-
piper cub?
-
wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy off :)
-
Thinking Avro Anson or Bristol Beaufighter.
But roundel on Anson was closer to wing tip.
So with the clue of "first flew in 1939" I will go with the Bristol Beaufighter which first flew on July 17, 1939. The Anson flew earlier as a civilian transport prior to the war.
And the BFs roundels were positioned closer inboard on the wings.
Bristol Beaufighter

well thought out sixx, but no.
I'll post answer tomorrow if no one gets it before.

You really enjoy this don't you furball... :p
-
looks like a stirling mk.III
-
no its not a stirling, and yes - i am enjoying this because i cant wait to tell u what it is :D
-
hmm... looks like coastal command or wireless trainer... but not many planes entered service in 1939 like that... so perhaps a Beaufort or a Defiant?
-

Knowing furball it would be a captured german plane with allied markings...
-
You guys suck. Dont you know a 190 when you see one?! :D look at XJ's avatar in this thread and you will see wing and tail are identical to that in the pic!!! bwahahaha! i am the winner!

ok whos gonna chip in five bucks to the 'Hire a contract killer to rid us of Furball' appeal?
Im putting in $100 right now :D
190 in british markings!...you ought to be shot :) oh and if the fund grows enough, YOU WILL BE! :D
-
wouldn't it be easier just to give me $200 and i'll go away? :D
-
That's not sporting Furby! British didn't even capture 190 till late war and with the roundells the only clue would be that it's British... and it ends up German!
-
who said anything about being sporting? :D
-
Told ya it was a spitfire! :D

You cheated furball....whats next a picture of just a screw?
-
Screwing? Yeah ... there ya go. Scuzzy would never suspect that in a trivia thread in the A&V forum. ;)
-
ROFL Arlo!
-
how did i cheat? just because its in RAF markings it doesn't mean its a british plane. If it was a spitfire in USAAF markings would you still recognise a spitfire? and whytf u talking about a screw?
-
Calm down my lil furballing friend. just poking fun at the size of the sample. Its like asking people to name that tune with just 2 notes.
