Can I "paint" my planes? Or just live with the stock schemes??
-
Yes, you can. 'Skinning' a plane requires the Aces High Terrain Editor, which is on the download page. In AHTE, go to the object tab, and choose the plane you want to skin from the available shapes list, and click save textures. In the Terrain Editor folder, there will be a folder called 'Savedtex'. In that folder is all of the .bmps you can edit. Can't help you past that point, because I have no idea. :(

hmm, I'll have a look at that too, is P47 one of the available planes?
hmm, that's strange, when I select a plane it turns itself off....

Hmmm's all around. :)
So do you know if these reskins work in MA or is it an offline only thing?
-
Read the instuctions. You have to create a terrain then the skin. You cant use your skins in the MA or any other online terrain for that matter unless the map and terrain is aproved by HT. The skins are MUCH more difficult than the old AW skins. Ask for help in the terrain editor forum lots of help there. But be warned it is very complex thing to do.

When u skin your plane you can only use it offline. But when your done please post screen shots of your new creation, im sure we'd all like to have a look :)
