Post by: jamusta on July 10, 2003, 05:39:31 PM: No team can compete. If Shaq stays in shape you can no longer double team him with Malone at PF. Malone is an outside threat at PF. He may be old but you dont run much in the triangle. GP will take pressure off Kobe. Plus we need his 7.8 apg. Malone is no slouch on defense plus hes a stong PF. There is no need to talk about the Glove. These 2 instantly improve defense and also fills the 2 spots the Lakers needed. Hopefully they dont beat themselves with all the egos. Other than that its gonna be a long season for everyone else cus you cant match them man to man at all positions.
