Wow....I know this is faux pas...but the 3D graphics of that game are pretty sharp.
I'm curious how AH2 will look
-
Wow!
Excellent camera work! I like the sequences and how you strung them together. Very well done!
-
Pretty cool dude!
What's your connection with the person to whom the film was dedicated?
-
Very nice, BBGunn.
My, how Warbirds has changed since I left in 2000. Too bad it's still being managed by an incompetent company with an egomaniac as CEO.
Long live Warbirds v1.11r2!

great piece of art :) WTG!

LOL! Now that statement brings back some trips down memory lane. If I remember correctly, Lazs was the one that started the whole "six view" debate, way back in 1997 or so.
"Memories, light the corners of my mind.....doo-bee-doo-bee-doooooooo-beee, of the way we were."
:p

Thanks guys.
Took me a while to get it done, there are a couple minor things I don't like about it, but was tired of listening to song segments over and over and over again. :)
Syzygyone,
George Preddy was the highest scoring P-51 Ace of WWII - http://www.352ndfightegroup.com and http://www.preddy-foundation.org/ for more info.
Our WB (and AH/WWIIOL/Target Rabaul) squad have an association with the Real Life 352nd Fighter Group Association, and this was just one inspired idea I had a few months ago to offer them a little tribute.

Whoa! That was incredible.
If that was you're first one, can't wait to see the ones after you get some 'sperience.
-
Wow! Can you imagine if someone actually incorporated those graphics into a usable multiple player flight sim????
Naw . . . . . Neither can I.

Bravo! Encore!

Wow!
Couldn't watch it earlier.. very nice!
And shame on you Syz for not knowing Preddy!! 2 demerits

As someone who has put some effort into creating some flight simulation movies, I gotta give ya a big thumbs up on your production!
Could you let us know what program you used to capture/compress and produce the movie? I'm curious as it has a remarkably small file size as compared to the lenght.
-
Wow! Absolutely awesome!
Thanks for sharing your hard work.
:)

AKweav,
Thanks! As far as how I did it....
I recorded the sequences on my Mini-DV connected to the video out port of my vid card. Then, I disconnected the s-video cable and hooked up the firewire to feed it back into the computer.
I took about 2.5-3 hours of tape, and have about 1.5 hours of galleys on my system, picking the sequences out of those galleys.
All I used was Windows Movie Maker version 2.0.3312.
Simple, but time consuming. I had a good time, gonna take a few months off, but I do want to do it again. :)

He knows who Preddy is, he's just asking if BBGun has any relation to him. 2 Demerits to you for failure to read properly.

wow just amazing!
makes me wish AH is that exciting all the time.
Best part of that movie is that i didnt see ONE la7!
-
Thanx bud!:D
-
Wow - that was great. I hate that fediddleing song, but somehow the video made it acceptable. ;)
WBIII or not - fantastic work.
Crossing fingers that some of what I saw in that movie makes it into AH2....
-
Incredible movie, very well done.
Those little explosions in the fighters when hit looked just like a real gun cam footage. I'm impressed.

That was superb! Thx for sharing with us
.

So why am I only getting audio and no video when I try to watch that one?
-
You need the correct codec. Try using WMP and it will find and install the correct codec for you.
-
wmp=winamp?
-
wmp= windows media player.

IMpressive! The last flying scene I noticed the P-51 got hit! Then I remembered the fate of Peddy. Nice touch to the tragic ending of one of the best.
Did the 352nd vetrans have access to this?
ONce again, nicely done!!

~applause~
culero (well done!)

Beautiful work BB. Reminds me of Brendos' WBs 2XX movies. This stuff transcends whatever game you might enjoy.
