Title: Looking for a squad
Post by: acepilot2 on July 12, 2003, 08:11:39 PM
I am currently a p38 pilot and a have been playing AH  for one year.  I am looking for a squad that is not too strict, with at least 13 people.

Can't give you 13 pilots but we aren't very strict and we have a blast flying together. Shoot me an email and take a look at our site. We would be glad to have you fly with us for a little while if you're interested.

hmm...i looked at the jolly roger website...it looks interesting.  However, 2 questions--

1) While I will most of the time, do I have to fly the f4u all the time?

2)  I am pretty young...will anyone have a problem with that?

jjdude,  is there an efw-sog homepage I can check out?

No we don't fly the F4U all the time either. I like flying plenty of other aircraft and so do the other guys in the squadron. On squad flights we tend to stick to the F4U for almost all of those missions. As for being young we don't have a problem with younger players being part of the squadron but we would still like to fly with you to see how you might fit into the squadron as a whole.

Well we have more than 13. ;)

We are not strict and really enjoy ourselves.

Your age does not matter to us. We fly for the Knights, but many of use fly in the CT also. Our focus is the events, specifically the Friday night Squad Operations which is our squad night. Take a peek. :) We fly any and all AC, but the C.O. (me ;)) Favorite AC is the P-38. :D

FYI, you have lots of good squads to choose from. Any that have posted in this thread are very good choices.
