Title: How to use the film editor
Post by: Sack on July 12, 2003, 09:58:56 PM
Guys any help on how to copy the entire film as an avi file. I can only copy aprox 5 secs worth. I'm trying to copy the entire 19min and I've had no success.
Any help would be great.

you locking up or what?   be sire to choose a compression type (Id recomend a plain vanilla codec like indeo 4.5 till you download and verify compatability with better compressions)

you have maybe a small swap file on your HD or maybe a low RAM memory count?

Ive never had AH limit my films other than by hardrive space.

are you sure your using it right?

It is my understanding that I can copy to avi and then open it in a film editor like Windows movie maker. My hard drive has roughly 5-6 Gb open and my memory is 5+ MB.
If there is something I'm missing let me know.

Make sure to select the entire length of the film before starting the conversion.
