Here's one you may have seen before. Name the aircraft, be specific.
Note that some wiseguy has written "Do Not Inflate" on the wooden wheel.
Finally, can you identify the location?

Spitfire landing gear fold outboard (towards the wing tip), this aircraft has inward folding gear. You correctly named the other aircraft though. :)

I am gonna go with a Mustang Mk1a.
-
Yup, definitely a Mustang Mk. 1A - the cannon fairings give it away.

As for the location, Langley, Virginia?
-
Mustang Mk.IA is correct.
Location is not Langley Field.

Hmm.... either Los Angeles Municipal Airport.... or Kansas City..... or Dallas?

He's a little well-dressed for a crew chief, so I'm guessing he's an engineer at the North American factory, wherever that is...?
It is all North American aircraft in view, after all.

I love the "Do Not Inflate" warning on the wooden wheel.

The location is North American's Inglewood, California facility.
