Title: Freeware Graphics Utility
Post by: TheManx on July 14, 2003, 10:20:32 AM
I currently use photoshop to do my graphics editing, but I remember seeing somewhere online here that there is a decent freeware one that people use. Does anyone happen to know what it's called and where I might find it?

Don't know what that would be....so I can't help ya. If you have Photoshop already though, why would ya need this?

Well, I contract at work and am currently on-site for six months at a time. I don't really want to get multiple licenses for Photoshop, because I use their servers and PC's and need something to use for screenshot editing for technical documentation and such.

Here's how I fixed my situation....bought a laptop, do my work on that  :p   Then I have all the tools I need!

I find Pant Shop Pro (http://www.jasc.com) a bit easier to use that Adobe Photoshop.

My 2 cents

You're looking for GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/).
