Title: Question about the B5N...
Post by: Sikboy on July 16, 2003, 08:03:51 AM
does anyone know if the Japanese ever used the converted 16" AP Naval Artillery Shells again after Pearl Harbor? Or was this just a one time deal? It just seems like such a good idea.

TY Doc., Nice link but it does not realy answer that question, I was looking hard for data on this as well, since in Uncommon Valor they never use this load out when  bombing ships.

It certainly is not unshual for Planes in AH to have only partial ordnace load's, incorect ones , or Way bigger than could actualy cary loads, hopefully we will see some changes in AH2.

Seems like a no brainer that this bird could carry the 1600 lb shell for AH

It says that Nippon AP bombs were USN 14" surplus shells from WW1...

Thanks for the Links Dr. Z, some very cool stuff there. The more I fly it in Events, the more I like the B5N.
