When practicing hammer heads in an rv8 and you happen to push negitve g's on the down line.


:All over the bottom of your plane.

I realy want an iverted oil system.

Would be money well spent in that airplane, mate.

It's just too much fun; you NEED an inverted system. (Although I think you'll find prolonged "neggies" are not all that much fun as you get older. Young man's sport.  ;)

And just where is that  Artlaws character when you need em the most?   He knows all about hammerheads and he might know how to fix up that oil problem Hitech ;)

Am I the only one that does not want HT pulling Hammerheads?

I really would prefer to keep him in an underground concrete bunker, surrounded by bodyguards and supplied with a food taster.

He don't need no concrete bunker he lives in Texas . Yankee & Ronnie are his bodyguards, Nate is the food taster, Supa supplies the booze, Skuzzy takes care of the shopping, and Pyro keeps the place neat & tidy(including sponge baths for HT).:D

Id rather he keep doing it and posts us some film! :D could he even do us the great favour of recording his engine in flight from the cockpit?

we could have THE most authentic sound for flying the P51 that way.start up and shut down sounds too?

would be a great little add on.

Here's a good site for tweaking RV-8s. Maybe a Christen inverted system would be a good way to go.

In reality...he is safer in the damned plane. He ain't smokin cigarettes and (more importantly) he ain't driving his fargin pickup truck!! (The rest of the driving public is probably safer when he flys also :D).

HITECH, when SE called me he mentioned you were having a jug replaced before your next hop. He also said he was going to show you the merits of an inverted system by flying inverted and letting the engine quit near the feild, did he get the chance?

SE said your bird is slick, did he teach you anything new?

Now we know why Skuzzy was really hired... HT just wanted someone to wash his plane after 'accidents' :D

Only ever done a neg G loop once... don't really want to do it again if I can avoid it lol. Flying inverted is fun tho.

Could use a dry sump syestem instead of the conventional oiling system. I know this is done on racecars but not sure on planes:D
