Title: America's Army...Any part timers playing?

I can really only focus on one game at a time, and for the past few years, that's been AH.

Lately, I've toyed with AA, when I don't have time for an AH sortie.

Some questions...

Are all the games like 5 min ordeals, with 3 objectives or less?
Is cheating rampant in this game?
How do you get honor points back after you lose one?
Any newbie advice?

deleted it and waiting for the new version. Every server is full of cheaters now. So many cheats out you can't keep up.

I downloaded 1.6 and a patch to make it 1.7.

Is this the new version?

I used to play it before 1.7, but that update causes the game to crash after a couple minutes, so I don't bother anymore.

No, most of the maps are 8-10 minute affairs - with the exception of Insurgent_Camp and Weapons Cache.  The other maps were so boring with all the waiting around that I didn't bother to play them.

Be on the winning team, camp, get kills, don't die, don't TK your teammates.  You get an honor point added whenever you have accumulated X number of points (the ones that showup on the scoreboard when you press F1).

The M203 is insta-death, the best weapon in the game.

I loved the game, but if I play at all now it's with friends.  There is just far too much cheating.

If you want points fast be a leader. You get a lot of points even if you don't fire a weapon.

On the bridge map I would be a leader and sit at a window with my Binocs and call out targets. I rarely fired a shot but I got rank reaaal fast.

A) for the most part...no...there longer...its fun if you dont die...wich is hard because theres always some idiot with a random nade

B) it is now...next version will be different with punkbuster built in

C) fight hard and win...

D) have patience...
