The guy who created NAPSTER is messing up with the MP3 files, especially new sing that had been released in 2002-2003! I downloaded 50 cent's "In da club" and when i listened to it, there were screeching sounds 160 seconds later.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot

but the good news is that you can still download oldies and old school rock and rap in hi quality mode.
-
If you know what your doing you can download pretty much any song you want. Hell I have 3 albums right now that are not even in the stores for another 2 weeks. Had 50cent 6 days before it was in the store.
-
What i look for when i download MP3s is that i look for the highest quality, and the most people who shares that files.

This watermelon has been around for years now. Same is with movies, they get some french black and white stuff and simply rename it with "LOTR-Two Towers" etc. I think its good that they do it, gives the Hollywood industry some false comfort, they prolly now think they have this internet problem solved.
The workaround for the scams is either be experienced user who can figure whether some file is suspicious or using e2dk links (http://www.sharereactor.com). I use both methods, but my experience usually saves me from the scams. Thats why i can use Kazaa Lite for my music downloads, its still the best and fastest software around for <30mb downloads. Emule is for everything else and it supports the fantastic E2DK link system. Right now im downloading T3 with that method, 2 dvd quality CD:s and no worrying it would be scam since i got the link from Sharereactor. Emule is open source, so theres no worrying about spyware plus the engine is very innovative and versatile, new versions out every few weeks.

Kazaa lite comes without spyware, but you have to uninstall the original (if you have it installed, that is) and use ad-aware spyware cleaner before installing the lite version.
-
Ad-Aware is scheisse better use Spybot and only use Kazaa Lite and NEVER Kazaa.
Kazaa lite has some anonymizing code but if im right it doesnt work to well.
-
If you don't want to be fooled by these false files, just trust one of the main -trusted- distributors.
If you are patient, try emule and go find links at http://www.sharereactor.com, for example. They verify their files.

Just to let you know T3 will NOT be dvd quality. 99% of all the moives that are still in theatres are TS or telesync, which means it was the movie was acquired with a simple video camera placed somewhere in the theatre with a seperate audio source. While a SVCD is CLOSE to dvd quality that is entriely dependent on the source.

go to the kazaalite website and download the tools for kazaalite.
Theres an AVI PREVIEW (not the same as 'preview in kazzalite option)...
it allows you to see if the movie you are downloading is the one you want or not.
Since i got it, never downloaded the wrong one.
