Thx for the disclosed piece of info!

 Damn, it's a tiny bit, but who cares!! It's info! Woohoo! :D

 The second pic, hangar shot, really looks fantastic. The fourth pic confirms the exterior of the field layout, but even with a quick peak, man, it looks convincing.

 But what really gives me the goosebumps is the third terrain picture. Either that's a really cleverly disguised texture, or the MTF we heard of! The terrain, is also fantastic!

No problem downing the movie for me.

 It was fantastic!

* The clipboard, looks clean and more refined! Can see the trace of "Trinity map" ;)

* The hangar selection interface seems a bit awkward, but considering its still beta stages, no prob. I like how the clipboard works there, too!

* Now, what's that? In the new starting screen.. there's a 9 area box on the clipboard like a tic-tac-toe game?

* Now, the MTF, as seen in the flying sequence, is awesome! The video's a bit dark, but still can make out the sensation of low alt flight! :D :D It's not just good looking textures it seems! The foliage, bushes and trees... wow!

* The right wing of the P-51D, seems to show damage indications, which probably means a new visual DM model?? Either that, or that's a very big bad rusty wing!

* Ahh.. the cockpits still seem 'generic' style, but I understand this one. A shame, but who knows? So far, no loss here :)

Cockpits have not been updated yet (at least not that one).  All older planes getting new 3d models to bring them up to the newer planes standards...also the prop being opaque was just a code thingy HT hadnt changed yet....props will look the same

Think its just plain vanella mpeg 2, windows media player should work and auto download the codec if needed (provided you have it set to allow getting codecs)

No, it is not a plain vanilla mpeg 2 codec.  Nothing I have will play it and I can play most mpegs.  For example, the videos on your website play without any problems.

I installed Real Player in an attempt to view the movie and I still cannot view it.  When Media Player and Real Player try to get a codec they cannot find a valid codec.

Maybe the movie has been corrupted at the source?

prob.....much of the loud guy you hear throughout the movie ("use the right target caues I always miss that way") is Bullethead....king of home brew :D

Looks brilliant. :D The pic that HT showed on the BBS didn't impress me that much (it seemed like only the skin had changed, and the foliage was hard to discern) but this stuff is dynamite.

The visual damage model (bullet holes where they strike) is something I was not aware of. Whether it makes the final 'cut' doesn't matter, but imagine if  it does!

I saw it live and I watched the movie. If you guys are excited about what you saw in the movie, then wait till you see the real deal ... and yes that is the official MTF (Micro-Terrain Feature).

The damage graphics on the wing were just there show the visualization for testing. When talking to HiTech about the damage, I got the impression that it will be implemented when AH II is released.

Hmm wierd i can see no pictures anywhere on combathanger as with others all i get is red X.
