"I never wanted this for you. I work my whole life - I don't apologize - to take care of my family, and I refused to be a fool, dancing on the string held by all those bigshots. I don't apologize - that's my life - but I thought that, that when it was your time, that you would be the one to hold the string. Senator Hussein; Governor Hussein. Well, it wasn't enough time, Odai. It wasn't enough time."

Good news for the troops, that's one more step closer to coming home.

They'd have to split it over 200 ways if so:
Sanchez said the 101st Airborne Division, Special Forces and Air Force assets participated in the six-hour operation on a residence near the northern edge of the city.
A military task force formed to hunt for Saddam and his top supporters led the raid, supported by extensive armor and air cover, officials said.
Two-hundred members of the 101st Airborne Division also joined the assault, and no one was captured, a U.S. official told CNN Pentagon correspondent Barbara Starr.
The military went in and engaged in a "big firefight," the official said.
A senior Pentagon official said one of the other two bodies appeared to be that of a teenage boy. U.S. officials noted that Qusay has a teenage son. The other body recovered appeared to be that of a bodyguard.
200+ versus 4? Is this the Bush administration or the Bish? ;)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
STATEMENT REGARDING OPERATION IN MOSUL, IRAQ
Statement from US Central Command:
On Tuesday, July 22, forces associated with the 101st Airborne Division and Special Operations Forces conducted an operation against suspected regime figures at a residence in Mosul, Iraq. The site is currently being exploited. Four Iraqis were killed in the operation. We have confirmed that two of the dead were Saddam’s sons Uday and Qusay."
WTFG!!
I hope to see these two pieces of **** hung from meathooks in downtown Baghdad. Leave them there until the crows have picked their bones clean. A message(the ONLY message)the barbarians understand.....
According to reports there was $50 million in cash in the house along with SAT phones, computers, and lists of names. A Shiite cleric fingered the two creeps. Holes were drilled in the house walls and fibre-optics inserted for observation and positive ID of the two creeps. Spec Ops entered the building and killed everyone they saw. They then withdrew and the 101st pulverized the building with TOW's and 50 cal.
Righteous.
There's gonna be a lot of freshly killed goatherds in Iraq. Soon. And further humiliation for the whiney losers of the Liberal-Left.
It's been a GOOD day....

Did they go down in style ? I mean, boots on, gun in hand like Escobar ? Or even suicided like Adolf the coward ?
Anyway, they had asked for it long enough. Here you go, sirs.
-
Just guessing - I'd say Oday had hours to get to his heroin, so he probabally died high.
I wouldn't be surprized if Qusay died fighting hard. Pure speculation... I hope they can piece it together.
-
Only thing to say about this is, AMF's!!
Along with a WTG for the forces that took them out.
-
Awesome!
But realy has America stooped so low, I mean even killing Saddam's prescious children? :) :D

Negative. Members of the US Armed Forces are/were not eligible for bounties in the line of duty.

Did you notice that Uday and Udie sound the same ?
At last in French :D

Am I the only one who sees the irony in this?
Allahu akbar. In Arabic, it translates as "God is great."
It tends to be one of the most commonly used phrases in the ME. The media loves to use it when talking about terrorists (you've probably all got that image of some towelhead screaming it as he blows up himself and the busfull of children he was on).
Iraq is the only middle eastern country that went to the trouble of having it written on their flag though (for those who ever wondered what the Arabic words on their flag were).

And here we have proof that they were right. I truly hope it was the last thing to go through their brains (apart from the slug from an M16).

"Robert Stack is now saying that contrary to many recent reports, Elvis is ,infact, dead....film at 11."
What a TROLL!!!
Everyone knows "The King" (genuflects) sings his repertoire of hits in the Tropics lounge at the Tropicana on weekends.

BTW I heard they holed up on the 2nd floor - how dumb can you be ?
"The house is surrounded my US Army, let`s get away from our means of escape FAST !"
They played too few tactical shooters obviously ;)
