It's an east coast pizza chain that is basically Dominos, but tastes a whole lot better and has some items like chicken wings that Dominos doesn't offer... AND they have online ordering!
Online ordering is the bestest thing ever!

Way better than Domino's :)
I like the garlic sauce too

I bet.. Order those pizzas on the climb out and never miss a beat.
-
I was *just* having a conversation about Papa John's today!
Pizza Hutt is teh sux0rz ever since they changed their sauce. It's like... sweet tasting... sugary almost.
Domino's will always be good, but Papa John's is right up there. And you get free jalepenos in the box!
Little Caesar's also had great stuff.... breadsticks were the best there. I haven't seen them around in a long time. Outta business?
-

Probably so, they disappeared in my area too. Their TV commercials were annoying anyway.
-
Ok few things .. they arn't jalepeno's... they are peperoncini (golden greek peppers).
Domino's does have wings .... trust me :D
That proably is sugar in the sauce (some people think it cuts the acid and improves tatse... some people)
Papa John's is my favorite pizza chain .... but nothing beats NY style Mom & Pop pizza shops.
-
Yeah, Little Ceasar's flopped a while back.
Domino's and Papa's both have wings, but I think only Papa's has the chicken strips which are just deep fried chicken tenderloins that come with BBQ or honey mustard dipping sauce.
Like Nuke mentioned, the garlic sauce for dipping pizza in is great too.
-SW
-
I hate Papa John's pizza. But I like chicken wings.
-
Anyone ever heard of Monical's pizza? Can't beat their thin crust.
For deep dish, we have a local chain called Micheleo's with this great spicy sauce. Is good.
-
Majic if you are ever in Champaign go to Papa Del's.
My favorite in Chicagoland was Giordano's.
-
Papa Johns?! You people are a bunch of sick bastards. I agree that Dominos sucks bellybutton tho', but so does Papa Johns...and Pizza Slut. I hate you AKSW, and I hope you die for posting this. Although the chicken strips are decent and the online ordering does rule. Neither of which makes up for the poop pizza tho'.

Pappa John's is great delivery pizza. Best pizza I EVER had was in Seattle at Peter's Pan Pizza. It was served in a huge skillet about 4 or 5 inches deep. Awesome!

I donno about that...

Little Ceasars is still in business there are several in the Southeast and I know of 6 in the Birmingham, AL area. Also there is another franchise located here called Donato's that has great pizza and they also have huge sandwiches called "Big Don's" that are outstanding.
Probably the best two pizza places are in another section of Birmingham called Homewood they are Dave's Pizza and New York Pizza.
-
Yeah, there are one or two Little Ceasars left around here too. PIZZA! PIZZA!

isnt just a east coast chain,,we got them here too,,im in washington state west coast,,we got 3 of them in driving distance,,there not too shabby,,i like there pizza,,but there aint much pizza's i dont like,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,do you on the east coast got round table pizza?<~~~very tasty around here too:)
-
Little Caesar's is doing fine, judging from the amount of money Illich (the owner) pumps into the Red Wings.
They did go through harder times (lost some of their market) when the economy was good. People had more money to spend, and were willing to go to more expensive pizza places (ie Papa Johns) instead of getting Caesar's 2 for 9.99 pizzas. They seem to be doing well now though. About a year ago, the pizza business was crap, and LC started regaining a great deal of their market share (more due to shrinking market than an increase in business though).
I worked at a pizza place for the last 5 years... many boring night shifts on which to read "Pizza Today" magazine. :)

Shyaddup, ya bastard. They shut down all three of the Round Table Pizza resturaunts that were in Salem. Fortunately, Geppettos (great Chicago-style pizza) is still here!
SOB
-
maybe a basterd,,but im not going to shut up hehe round tables around here are great,,cook on stone slabs,,my buddy is the district manager of the ones around here,,,keeps them in tip top shape,,out sells all the local chains in my area,,,i guess it matters who owns them
abby's pizza went out of busness around here,,,so did godfathers besides one,,,papa murphy's is still here<~~take home and bake pizza's,,they got a 10 pound chicago style pizza:)
-
Yeah, Round Table is definitely good stuff...I don't know why they went under around here...I think there still operating in the Portland area. Never liked Godfathers that much...too doughy.
SOB
-
Chicago style pizza (stuffed) owns.
I can't get too excited about the other stuff.
-
Oh joy they have a website now: http://www.giordanos.com/
-
In all honesty, I prefered Dominos to Papa John's. PJ pizza didn't taste very good and was WAY too expensive to be worth it. One of the best pizzas I've had though was in a Colorado chain called BeauJo's. Nothing beats the site of the 15 lb pizza.
-
Papa John's can be found on the left coast too.
Not bad stuff. I especially liked it when my daughter's friend worked there. We'd call in an order and get all kinds of extras delivered. (Food extras like the cheese bread....... relax SOB)
-
yeah papa john's have been around here for about 10 years........ pretty good, but I don't like how they put the toppings under the cheese........ I like the pepperoni to be a little on the crispy side.
-
Duke's Pizza in Moanalua, order the Big Kahuna with garlic balls. Those who live on Oahu shold know...
-
I don't like how they put the toppings under the cheese.
Heathen!
The peperoni and shrooms go under the cheese. The green peppers, shredded bacon, ground beef and Italian sausage go on top :D
-
Like Canadians know anything about......... well, anything.

Wulfe your killin me here, this may be one of the best threads ever haha, I have been laughing like crazy.
The best pizza I have ever had comes from a chain that started in my small little town in Upstate NY, its called Marks Pizza. I dont know if anyone out there has heard of it but its amazing. The other place that had great pizza was this bar that was located in the town I went to college. It was this little dumpy bar, they had a urnial you could stand inside of (im not joking about that) it was so big, but they made pizza wich all of the students reffered to as crack.
What I miss the most since living out here in the the sand is chicken wings, Western NY had the best wings in the world and now all I can find is these measley attempts at a wing.
-
All tomato sauce has sugar in it, or should.
-
Papa Johns here is the worst delivery pizza, they allways under cook the pizza. Wet, soggy pizza, yuck. Which is unfortunate, because it's the only pizza here that you can order online.
-
ordering wings from a pizza place is sacrificial...
truely disgusting.
.
-
$5 large pepperoni pizza at Little Caesar's.
Greasy, cheap, and wonderful.
-
how hard is it to pick up a phone u lazy bastages!
do these places deliver beer too?
-
You guys have listed some mighty fine "pizza-like" products. Pizza Smut, Domino Death Disks, Little Cheezers, Pappa Bombs... a 12 pack of Old Milwaukee and a few bong hits and they really hit the spot on a tight college budget :) Though Pizza Smut is to pizza what the McRib is to ribs. A Tombstone pizza and a bottle of Rooster Sauce (add some parmesean to boot) gets the job done just as well.
It's a sad thing to be so Pizza deprived

Don't ever buy a Tostino's combination pizza. The sausage is bleached rat feces.

I wish we had Papa johns in Canada..
-
you guys should try making your own... Everyone loves my pizza from the grill..>
-
Papa Johns is ass. Pizza Hut is bellybutton that'll make you sick. Dominos is also ass. We have one or two good pizza joints around here, but neither deliver. Grumble grumble, whine whine.
-
Papa John's is good pizza, they put lots of cheese on their pizzas. mmmmm
The best pizza though is Valentino's. They arent a nation wide chain by any means, but there are multiple stores in Nebraska.
I am salivating heavily just thinking about it :D
-
My Jod
You poor bastages have to get chain pizzas
Try coming to Chicago and get real pizza
Beggars on the South Side
Nancy's on the north side
Giordano's for the tourists downtown
Pizzaria Uno for the tourists downtown
But the bestest evah is Phils Pizza at 87th and Ridgeland
:)

Yeah, right, you mean shepards pie with cheese
The thin crust offerings pretty much kick bellybutton too. I get the thin crust at Giodanos and the deep dish at Lou Melnaties (about 2 blocks from where I live). Really a wealth of pizza offerings to meet any taste in and around Chicago.

If your talking about the deep dish stuffed pizza, I agree
No I'm talking about thin crust, but I've been to Boston, got a bud who works at Northeastern, and had your tomato bread
That ain't pizza :)

Yick. Papa John's? We have alot here in Minneapolis, MN and I would have to say I prefer Domino's over Papa Johns. Papa Johns just has way too much grease and the garlic taste gets very old after having it once a week. I vote Domino's to be the best fast food pizza service out there.
