You can send that film of your Spit IX vs my F4U-1D to nascargofaster@yahoo.com.  I'd be interested in seeing what the relative speeds where at that co-alt merge where you ran me down after your immelman.  I might have to adapt my F4U-1D strategy to deal with co-alt Spit merges at relative same speeds.

Nah, I did my whining on CH1 last night.  This is for education.  I was in a Spit V once with superior speed and got my butt handed to me by a guy in a F4U1 birdcage at stall speed.  Last night I was in the F4U-1D and Wxman was in a Spit IX.  I tried same tactics as the birdcage had pulled but it didn't work.  Could've been the difference in aircraft, but without the film I'll never really know.

Its not the Spits I hate, its the guys ranked in the Top 25% of AH that fly them that annoy me.  If you're good enough to be ranked over 800, then its time to take off the training wheels.

And so I'm trying to find a second-tier plane that I can use to kick them back to kindergarten.

And I hate AKs just because they're Bishops.
