this has probably already been brought up before.

I was wondering how large the download for ah2 is going to be. or
will we need to buy a cd?

That's not been answered yet.

 I imagine at some point we'll be able to buy a CD version of AH-II when it is released, as you can now with for a minimal cost.  But if you have a dial up connection and you want the beta program fast then your best bet would be to ask a friend to download and burn the file(s) to a CD-R for you.  Or one of us could do it and mail it to you when the time comes.

Yes, it will probably be out in both ways like Westy said, sort of like DoD minus about $20.  I'm guessing the download will be about 100mb?

Kevin, Current ah main download is around 35mb.

I'm betting AH 2 will still be below 50mb.

Devourer, AH has always been free to download, just costs to fly in the arena's.

Once they get the bugs out CD's may become available.

The higher rez textures in AH2 will have a major impact.  A jump of only 15mb is pretty optimistic when you consider that AH from 1.00 to 1.11 jumped about 20mb without ever increasing texture rezs.

i would guess HTC would do the same with AH II
