Actually this is a model based on (for lack of a better word) a Nobody. The pilot was a very junior officer that was flying at the very end of the war ( January 1945) His last name was Gzik, he was an enthusiastic young man that barely had 10 combat missions. As you can imagine he had a very short, uncerimonoius carrer as a German Fighter Pilot. I chose this subject for the vivid colors and the lack of "superstar" status of the pilot.

Its forsale $7,250  some guy put a lot of time and effort into this beauty.

That plane is so detailed I would be afraid to fly it.  Magnificent cockpit.  I find it depressing that the plane was modeled after a German pilot who was killed in action.

Thats a G-4, doesnt look anything like that. Doesnt have G10 style cowls for the DB605AS engine, doesnt have erla haube canopy, doesnt have the circular ring antena behind the ventral wired antena aft of the cockpit. Also lacks the lower left wing antena. Standrad G14 had the two G6 style bulbs on the engine cowling.
