Fighter pilots might come a bit close but I've always managed to get a wave or salute from 'em, hanging from my chute, so how bad can they be? :)

He was probably pretending he had a gun solution. pulling light G's going "guns, Guns, Guns !"
BTW That looks like a pretty cool place to fly !

Fighter pilots are taught to fly low-level, aggressive, and fast. Its part of the training. To forbid it would compromise the integrity of our fighting forces.
Besides, Cessnas are absolutely no threat to Norway. Its simply redikulus!

I bet the fighter pilot was sitting there saying, "Bang bang bang! Bangbang!"
-
Too bad the 172 is so damn slow.. they might have wanted to wing up...lol
-
bah, that pic is nothing
i was taking shots of my house at 2600 feet which is right next to the base leg for otis air nat. guard base... halfway through the f-15s come back from wherever and did touch and goes and was just watchin em fly by. (much lower then me though)

Slightly off-topic but so what...
StuBit is spending some time in Hungary and he posted few pics from AirShow promotion flight which flew over his home in the Budapest:

Looks like Peter Besenyei is also performing there, I've seen few vids from his flying and that guy knows his stuff

Irvine Lake Irvine CA 6:20am 1990 somthing. The lake had just opened and me and a couple buddys had just stopped in the middle of the lake. Baited up and dropped our lines for a nice day of fishing. It very was quiet and the lake was still we had the radio on some nice jazz playing very low. Being the partyers we were back then
we had just smoked a fatty and cracked a beer. Settling for some quiet time. When a Pair of f18s decide to buzz the lake. Never heard them until they where right over head at about 800' one goes full after burner and goes vertical right over our boat. The other does a barrel roll and disapears over the dam. All three of us jumped clean out of our skin. Beer and tackle flying everywhere. After we got our senses back we look at each other and start high fiving and doing a victory dance all over the boat. Was the coolest thing we ever saw. The bastages!!!
We even managed to catch a few fish later on. Was a great day.

I was camping at Detroit Lake near Salem, OR. I'd just gotten up (about 7am) and was looking across the resevoir when two A6-E fighters came up the channel doing about 400mph at about 500 feet. You could not hear them at all until they had passed... and what a noise that was. It was very cool and somewhat made by the fact that the scene was completely tranquil right up until then.
Then I looked over and saw a chipmonk on the ground about 5 feet away. The sound of the jets had sent him into convulsions and it took about 10 minutes for him to regain his senses. I guess they aren't as inspired by low level fast moving fighters.

That wasn't convulsions.... he was looking for another chipmunk to high five.
I was outside our work place about 3.5 years ago (before I quit smoking) having a smoke all by myself when I heard the coolest noise.
I look up and a lone P-38 is coming towards me pretty low. He did a steeply banked 180 turn right over my head and went back the other way.
The worst thing was.. there was no one to share it with. I looked around frantically to say .."Did you see that?" but to no avail.
