Pfft...yet you'd squeal in glee if it were Bill Clinton
Who cares? Really?
-
Hey MT, can I get a ruling? I think this is a record... one reply to a Clinton reference..
Johnny, tell him what he's won!

U.S. Flag code, Section 8, part g:
The flag should never have placed upon it, nor on any part of it, nor attached to it any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature.
-
I thought we had a Constitutional Right to do things to the flag, like burn it, use it in art pieces, make statements, etc.?
I'm confused...does the flag code supercede the Constitution?
-
Even I am smart enough to know not to write on the flag.
-
in the american civil war , many regiments had personlized federal flags, name of regiment, city the reg was from, the way the stars were aranged, etc, that must have been before the "flag code"
-
WTFG!! ONE to a CR!! (Clinton reference)
You have won.....
a baby's arm holding an apple!
Flag code isn't law, its etiquette. Bad form yes, illegal, no.
-
LOL, so you can burn it, piss on it, trample on it...but dont you DARE put your name on it?
You americans are funny sometimes :)
-
Now I'm just waiting for Erlkonig to come in and say something here...that would make it complete...
-
The question was FORM, not LEGALITY.

Actually it wasn't a question at all, it was a statement.
-
but if some kid handed Bush a small flag to sign, and he said "no, it's bad form" y'all would call him an ******* anyway.
he's damn if he does, damned if he don't.
