Rickod, are you familiar with running traceroutes? It sounds as if you are having a routing problem connecting to our server. Another thing to try is our alternate route to the main arena which is the second arena choice.

Any ping program should do host names along with IPs.

Ok I traced from work all my pings up to the server were below 49ms im on a t1 here ,
I downloaded the game installed and used my user name and pass and tryed to login
same error "host connection lost"
right after I click ok on the arena I want to go into it fails .
I am able to login to admin pages I resent my user name and pass and also updated all my info .
but still cannot login :{

Rickod, are you trying to connect through a proxy server at work? You might want to check with your network admins to see if AH will work from behind your work's firewall(assuming it has one).

didn't run tracer route but got booted several times this am (5 to 7 am EST.)Heard others complaing about discos too.

This is the same problem I am having, as noted on the connectivity board. It is not a ping issue, but it may be something to do with cable/networked systems. But why would hth work and not the Main?

I'm having the same problem with the same
setup that worked fine for me a few months
ago with my old AH account (that's right,
I cannot stay away). I have updated to the
latest patch. I have a 56K modem, no
firewalls or anything unusual. The exact same
(save for revision number) setup worked just
fine, but now fails to find host. There must
be some problem with account activation.

Hi guys, we had a bug in the system that was causing this. It's fixed now and you shouldn't have a problem. Let me know if you still do. Thanks.
