Title: i miss aces high

i havnt played in months.... my laptop is so slow. damned kazaa. i miss the dive bombing and the tracers flying. but when id quit for a few weeks and came back, id get shot to **** everytime. pacients(sp?) is needed. maybe i will have some by the time i get a desktop....since the ones that can handle this game very well are pretty cheap nowadays. pluss seeing some good war movies, like band of brothers.  anything change much since January?

Yeah... so do a lot of us...especially the version before the Goofy Bomber sites..

Well, I miss Aces High but that's because I am a good 6000 miles away from my home computer.  I could fly on the laptop but for some reason the Army doesn't want me loggin in on their network to play video games.

Something about wasting bandwith.

Wasting?  I thought I finally found something useful to do with it.

For those of you scratching your head I am currently in Kuwait, have been here since March.  Will be here until November.

At least I have some kind of internet access now.

For the life of me, I don't know why so many peeps dislike Pizza. I'll admit it's a bit tough on the eyes but it's got something for everyone...especially the ground jockeys. There's always a few dogfites to be found, even when there's less than 200 players on in the morning.

Those who despise the pizza map...pool your resources...get together and map out another terrain. Not being a wiseass...just sayen.

i dislike it because each side doesnt have a "home land" If each side had one of those funny shaped Islands to its self i dont think id mind it so much...... i dunno

Hey wklink, ol squadie. Long time. I didn't know you were stationed at Ft Lewis. When did you get there? I left Everett last year in June for my new job in Texas. Hope your having fun in the part of the world. :-)  I was there 12 years ago. Not much there.

I've been out for almost 2 months now, scheduled to come back in early august. In 1 week I lost my headset, joystick & my puter crashed. Bad things come in 3s they say..... hope so.

i dont like the pizza map because its ugly.  it can be fun to dogfight and use gv's but its ugly and is unrealistic looking.
atleast the other maps are more realistic looking but a PIZZA!
