get muted for saying something not even remotely bad considering what goes on in ma.. cant speak for 8 mins. get CTD, log back on and im muted for 10 mins again.

WTF is up with that?

I got muted in the CT for typing b*tch for 2.5 minutes last night. Was in the middle of talking to a guy about joining our squadron and we were telling knee surgery stories. I had just typed "this last surgery hurt like a b*tch." Only I spelled it correctly. It wasn't going over the public text channel either it was a person to person conversation.

Sometimes I think it goes a little bit to far. Especially since I have seen P*ssy and F*ck go out over channel 1 in the MA and CT. To get muted for B*itch is a bit extreme.

LOL i was muted in the dueling arena for 1 hour durring the 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 !

i forget what i said as it was late and night and had been drinking since 10 AM with WAX, Vegas, AHGOD and the rest of the drunk bastages at the CON.

I got muted twice last night plus I got a directed warning to the effect "Please Stop it DmdMac."  The first muting was unexpected as I got muted for saying ?ss(actually bluegreen?ssed babboon).

The second was my little anti-authority statement which was simply a restatement of what got me muted the first time.

The third "offense" to someone's little sensibilities I compared what I said to what I've heard others say and stated that it wasn't nearly as offensive in context.  

To all of this I say screwit.  I was drunk and I'll be closing my account in a month, so I really didn't care.

This really completely sucks.

hitech, what's the policy regarding direct text messages? are they beeing actively monitored? can they be monitored by player-cops?

There's 2 types i guess.  One automated system which caught the private chat, and the other which is moderator based?

I once got muted for 30 mins or so for saying 'Golly-geen it'

Private has an auto filter.  Good idea, unless you want to have any random moron getting you on private to berate you.

no .. you can say the most vulgar thing you can think of on squad text lololol :D

i guess they figure we have to have an outlet... and if somone is in the squad they are open to see it. also if somone is talking offensivly to somone on squad the CO can boot them.. problem solved.


Ps. Hitech PLS don't moderate squad text in the future either PLS PLS PLS :D
