Sounds like an advanced Senior level course.  No joke.  There are college majors  now being offered in computer game programing at some universities.  Can't provide a link, but I heard this not too long ago.

If you wanna make money after graduation, you should major in this.  It's not for everyone, but if you can do it, you stand to do well.  The market is wide open for computer game programers.

It's not as far fetched as it seems, considering the popularity of computer games, and especially the trend toward networked games.

yeah, the money is decent...  if you don't mind 60-80 work weeks.  I seriously thought about going into game programming.  I figured it'd be the dream job, coding up logic and AI that would make people get immersed in games.  Then I heard the schedules and pressure that the big names are under.  I like my 40 hrs a week, Mon-Fri.  I like weekends off.

Now my dream is to win the lottery and sit on my bellybutton the rest of my life.  :)

Not unusual to have anthropology or sociology or even poly sci courses that seem goofy.

One of my favorites in college was "Communism in the Movies". We saw a movie once a week, and had an interesting discusion afterwards.

I got an "A" in course entitled "Medieval Sports and Games" in University.

Best course EVER.

Ha, I wouldn't know what to do with all my spare time.  I work 96 hr work weeks now.

I recall needing to add or more class to my college schedule years ago...so seeking an "easy A oppritunity", I enrolled in "The Art of Listening to Music"

On the first day, in class, I noticed the entire football team was there.  SCORE!

Well....not quite.  It turned out to be more than the proper position of your legs and proper leg bouncing methods....but knowing the layout of the orchestra, the instruments...etc etc.  Fairly deep.  Most of the "dewds" washed out...I got a B.  It was just priceless to see these guys listening to a piece and the question on the test being "Where in the orchestral piece you heard, is the tuba?"  They'd frett and go "Dude, I can SEE in the headphone!"  LOL  

Sometimes the easy class backfires and becomes a real challenge.
