Title: FA: TM F-16 Cockpit Panels w/Switches
Post by: SOB on July 29, 2003, 11:42:29 AM
Not sure if anyone here would be interested (these aren't exactly WWII :)), but what the hell...

Selling some TM F-16 panels I've had in storage for too long...hopefully someone else can make use of them!  Panels have never been used, and switches are installed and wired.  Interface box and ThrustWare software is included, but I can't guarantee functionality or compatibility.  Plugs in through keyboard port (5-pin).  As with other TM products of the era that utilize the keyboard interface, the driver could have problems working on anything faster than a Pentium, and in some cases even on a pentium.  Would make a great addition to a home cockpit, but you might need to figure out an alternative way to make the switches functional.  Depending on how the auction goes, I may end up selling a few more.  Thanks for looking.  :)

It's old ThrustMaster stuff...They stopped making it in '96 or '97.  It wasn't available in most retail channels back then, and this part alone sold for almost $400.  The whole cockpit was more like $3000.  Do a search for Thrustmaster cockpit on google, you'll find some pics of it.  The panels are still cool, but the software is very dated.
