I dl'd the demo, about 128 mb zip file.  Graphics are sweet but the controls aren't real intuitive.  With some more time and development this game seems a very robust design.  Will get you a more thorough review when I have played more.

Used to play harpoon2 all the time. harpoon3 has been out for a long time ( http://www.harpoon3.com )  and its a BIG update of the original Harpoon2 and is playable on newer windows versions.

Harpoon4 ( http://www.harpoon4.com ) is comming out this fall and will be very different to harpoon2 with more graphics but less realism.

This should really be called "Harpoon 30,000 AD" if you ask me :) I can't count the number of release dates they have had for that game lol. But you know what? I'll buy it when it comes out. If you need a fix in the mean time check out Jane's fleet command with the  Naval Warefare Project (http://www.navalwarfare.org/) mods and tables. It takes a medocre game and gives it some life.
