It is from Forgotten Battles but worked out a bit in Adobe Photoshop. There are a lot of nice screens on Il-2 general forum.

Hardly. It is Il-2 or FB for sure. Great skin. Hope the AH  community can come up with one for us in AH2.

Looked at Il 2 at walmart today 40 bucks 30 new planes and 32 room capacity for online play, I've played the demo was ok but I still like AH better. :D

Forgotten Battles is probably the best box sim you can get.  For WW2 combat it is the best box sim.  LOMAC looks really, really good, if I was in the states I probably would be playing it to find out but unfortunately my laptop doesn't fly LOMAC.

In addition areas of western europe are in the works to include the Ardennes and parts of France (and maybe England).  

Your right, it isn't Aces High.  I still don't get the viceral feel flying against the AI in FB like I do when I know the yutz behind me is a better pilot.  Still, if you have the hardware to run it Forgotten Battles is an amazing simulation and a ton of fun.
