After blowing through 3 Saitek Cyborg sticks in a year I bought a CH Fighterstick, Pro Throttle and Pro Peds - all USB stuff. Being the lazy slob that I am, I set the Control Manager for DirectX button mode and programmed everything with the AH Joystick set-up.
Everything works as it should, but I was having some problems with nose bounce with my main ride - the Typhoon. Buddy of mine helped me scaled the sliders to where most of the bounce was eliminated. However, when I fly a more agile ride, such as a Yak, I still have some nose bounce and the rudders seem a bit "tight"
My questions are:
1. Will programming the stick with the CM (vs DirectX) give me a smoother stick/ped response?
2. Can specific stick scale sets be saved for different planes?
Thanks in advance ~

Congrats on the CH stuff. Watch the YAK, it is a twitchy ride however you set it up. You may find you can't improve it much.
I dn't think you can set up different sliders for diff planes, although you could load and unload different settings files via Windows. Perhaps someone knows better than me on this.
How is the throttle? CH stuff attracts me too. I already have pedals.
