If you move closer after it dissapears it reappears which I didn't realize till now, don't get to close otherwise it won't dissapear and you may need to back up from it depending on how close your screen is..

thats where the optic nerve plugs into the back of your eyeball , there are no receptors there, your brain just fills in the blanks with the background color.
