Good, gadfly! However, he didn't invent RADAR. :) We really didn't have RADAR until the brits invented the magnetron. We had something that had a 2-3 mile range (very low power.)
Did you read "Tuxedo Park" by Jennet Conant? Great read! Imagine, an American investment banker (and rich beyond our imagination) being a scientist. Interesting. :)
