GREAT JOB !
Hope you get a lot of people to attend !
WARNING - It helps if the HOST STAYS SOBER - Get drunk AFTER THE CON !
Jordi
-
"Noon-5:30pm: 2 vs 2 AH Duel Tournament
5:30pm-7:30pm: Complimentary adult beverage service in the Atrium.
7:30pm-Dawn: Gaming in Con Room. Complete 2 vs 2 Duel."
Get the finalists drunk before the final rounds. That would make for some interesting films.

damm, my secret evil plans discovered;)

LOL Jordi I hear that.
Thanks all.

Great job FunkedUp.
I'll register as soon as I get confirmation from work that I have the days off. What is the deadline for signing up?
I am still undecided whether I should find a room down there or shuttle back and forth between Marin County and Milipitas.
-
EDIT:
I checked the contract. Here is the deadline policy:
- Registration Deadline is October 9, 2003. After this date we can't add more people to the banquet or airshow, nor can we get a larger Con Room space in the hotel.
- Discounted Guest Suite Rate ends September 25, 2003. Normal rates will apply after this date.
We will take Basic Package registrations up until the Saturday of the Mini-Con (October 18), but late registrants will not be guaranteed space in the Con Room for their computers.
Because of lead times, the sooner you register, the better we can make the Mini-Con.

wtg good work man...

c-c-complimentary drinks!?
... you've got a midwesterner who wants to go dearly :)
-
Yep all hotel guests get the drinks and breakfast.
It's the same hotel chain that HTC used for AH Con 2002.
At that Con I originally thought the room rates were too high, but I realized I was getting $10 worth of breakfast and $20 worth of drinks each day. :)

Shameless punt.

why shameless?:)

sounds like fun...if the stars align I'll be there. My only potential concern is using a .b wireless setup for gaming. I'm amazed you didnt have any lag...not from connect speed (easily better than dial up)...but from the nature of the connection. My brother does wireless stuff (mostly medical) and the way packets are sent/filtered is apparently bad for gaming. I've got both B & G set up at home so I'll run my computer off the wireless over weekend to double check. If I do get a chance to come I can bring some .b cards with me for folks to borrow (3-4 for sure).
