Title: Loading Gunsights

D/L some gunsights from various sources and put them into my sights file..........however they do not appear when I try to load them when I open my gunsight file in the game,,,,,what am I doing wrong?

if you are using illuminated gunsights, make sure you are not selecting the xxxx_alpha.bmp gunsight file.  if you select one of those files, the gunsight won't appear.

It seems as if when I d/l them they are d/l as .gif files. The file will only recognise .bmp files.  Is there a way to change them to .bmp files?

Right click on the file name and select "Save link/target as..." and save the gunsight to your aces high\sights folder.

Can't answer why they download as .gif files ... but have you tried renaming them to .bmp after you have downloaded them.

try those. The AeroReviSights.zip contains most of the popular sights converted to alpha ... excellent work by Aero.

Slapshot........most of them worked ...still having problems but have 2 decent gunsights,,,,,,thanks again!
