Post by: hazed- on August 09, 2003, 08:47:49 PM: hmm what i dont understand is why , if they have to cut back the air marshal programme, they have to tell the whole world theyve cut back. Surely it would be in everyones interest to make us all think there are marshals on almost every flight.

why give the terrorists information to help them when we could just as easily fool them into thinking its too risky.

This is one area i wouldnt mind being lied to about.

It wasn't a cut in air marshalls. It was a cut in support staff.

But it is a lie! It's reverse psychology, designed to provoke the terrorists into revealing themselves!

The Constitution allows the carrying of arms - why not on planes as well!!

When asked about the cuts and the increased risk of terrorist attacks as a result of them, President Bush replied "Bring it on!" :D

What am I missing?

Also, is any disagreement automatically slander?
