Man set sheep on fire
28 November 2001

A man will appear in Christchurch District Court today after petrol was poured over a sheep and then set alight.
Sergeant Jeff Meldau of the police southern communications centre said "some idiot" decided to stop by a sheep tethered at the side of the road on the outskirts of Christchurch about 4am today.

"He poured petrol on the sheep and set it alight," Mr Maldau said.

The man has been charged with animal cruelty.

Had some guy try that here on the homeless folks.

They killed him with squeegies.
