As you probably know Ramzey is planning to come to the Con. It's going to be a long trip for him, so Funked and I want to show him some of the California.

The plan is for him to arrive Fri Oct 10. We want to spend days before the Con driving. Everythign is very flexible but I'm proposing to see the following

San Francisco
Golden Gate
Fisherman's Wharf - Pompanito (a WWII sub)
Alcatraz
USS Hornet
Hiller's Museum
Chino
Los Angeles
San Diego


If you are able to come, it would be great if you could join us.

Rule 1 in America:

When a couple of guys from San Francisco try to get you alone in the desert... be afraid.  Be very afraid.

That's all I'm gonna say about that.

Now... if its a couple of real gentlemen like SOB and myself, by all means go.

It would be my pleasure to go, and I am flattered that you insist, but for now I can not give a definite answer - such is the life of a poor student :(

But dont count me out yet.
Meeting Midnight Target would be icing on the cake :)

MiniD is not very far off he could drive down and join the gang - its why he insists on replying to these threads, he cant wait to see me
