ok, go wild. What aircraft? Make sure they were in service during the first 6 months of 1937.
I think it'd be ME109B vs HAwker Fury and Gloster Gladiators in Britain, I16s and I15s in the East, while an attack against Pearl Harbor would be carried out with A5M Claudes and 'opposed' by Seversky P35 fighters and P26 Peashooters. Not much of a contest here.

the USN would still be using F3F biplane fighters.

WWII "1937" was called the Spanish Civil War.. :)

Grun, the Spanish Civil War was indeed a testing ground for a lot of new aircraft of the time, but I don't know if ALL frontline types were present. Certainly no Japanese aircraft, and they had some pretty good types like the A5M and the Ki-27 which were certainly better than the American fighters in service at the time.
