I'm sure a lot of you have already heard about the W32.Blaster worm that's spreading very quickly. It exploits a security flaw in Windows NT 4, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. If you haven't installed the patch for this vulnerability - you will get this virus (unless you are behind a firewall).
This virus is not particularly harmful, but it's certain that by exploiting this vulnerability extremely destructive viruses could be written.
Info about this vulnerability is at:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/?url=/technet/security/bulletin/MS03-026.asp
The patches for all Windows versions are available off that link as well. You could also get the patch from Windows Update, it's number 823980.

Heil Gunthr (strains of Erika playing in the background) ;)
Thx much 4 the Url ... obtained nothing much on it, interesting, I
retyped the "WindowsUpdate. msft .... etc" & the entire correct page came on :)
Had 6 updates on Windows XP which I dl'd ... so far so good, now I've to rush off to Offline to practise gunnery in P38 & P47 (still
tapping my foot to Erika, btw Erika, German war song, was/is outlawed by the US after WW2).
Cheers,
