Title: Question re on board video
Post by: Blue Mako on August 14, 2003, 10:31:10 PM
Gents:

If I buy an ASUS P4P800-VM motherboard (to get the on board sound), will there be any conflicts with the onboard vid card running an ATI Radeon AGP vid card ?

I've never used any M/B with onboard vid/sound so I'm wary...

Leaning towards either this or the P4P800 without onboard vid and sound to go with a P4 2.5GHz CPU.

Thx,

mako

You can disable the onboard vid and sound in you're BIOS settings.

The P4P800-VM is a micro ATX board, meaning it only has 3 pci slots and not very many DIMM slots for memory either.

The regular P4P800-E is available with onboard sound.
