Control Mangr sw is not needed for the pedals to work.
Unplug and plug in peds w/pc on, should find them.
If not, have you installed the chipset drivers?

BF4, I don't haven't used 98 in YEARS so I can't confirm, but back when I got my the Propedal right when they came out, it had an INF file. I don't think that in 98 there is native support for PP. The CM includes the drivers.

He mentions that they are the usb model, will show as HID, thus no sw needed.
I have all usb ch stuff and don't use the sw.
I believe it has something to do w/his root usb device drivers, which basically is to do w/the mobo drivers.

I use al CH too but run XP now. In 98 I remember needing the INF for the pedals to work properly... Are you running 98?

Yes Ding,
I have 4 OS's on my desktop, and I use 98se for gaming.
And I don't use any sw for recognizing or programming the hotas stuff.
They show up as HID devices in device manager, then I map them thru AH mapper.

okay cool,
I don't recall what version of 98 I had at the time. Thanks for the enlightenment.
