Title: CH pedals
Post by: Golfer on August 16, 2003, 08:31:57 AM: I'm having some problems with my USB CH pedals.

I reformatted my computer and installed Win98SE and cannot get the system to recognize the pedals. Installed software from CH disk and still no joy. ah hem...help?

Unplug and plug in peds w/pc on, should find them.

If not, have you installed the chipset drivers?

Post by: Dingbat on August 16, 2003, 01:16:37 PM: BF4, I don't haven't used 98 in YEARS so I can't confirm, but back when I got my the Propedal right when they came out, it had an INF file. I don't think that in 98 there is native support for PP. The CM includes the drivers.

I have all usb ch stuff and don't use the sw.

I believe it has something to do w/his root usb device drivers, which basically is to do w/the mobo drivers.

I have 4 OS's on my desktop, and I use 98se for gaming.

And I don't use any sw for recognizing or programming the hotas stuff.

They show up as HID devices in device manager, then I map them thru AH mapper.
