...to get, um...excited...when you come upon a field with 10 KI-67's (complete in formations) rolling down the runway while flying an A20? :D

lol Was that at A32? ;)
We just finished hammering V36 and were rearming. Suddenly the base alarm went off. We lifted off (losing our drones) and were jumped by A20's, and P-51's. Very few of us made it to our second target A35.

Should have heard Vulc and Oct on text...I thought I would have to sedate them when they RTB'd to base :)

Yep - had that sick feelin gin the pit of tomach when the reports came in about A20's at the base.
Knew I should ahve sent them back Deeper.
Was hoping to up a 2nd wave of GV's from that base and V36 and try to capture A35.
But alas - we know what happens when plans hit reality !
Good fight all around so far.
Get to be a PILOT in the last frame instead of an arm chair CO !

During Niemen I was in a flight of Il-2s attacking an airfield. As we approached we noticed about 8 FW190s sitting on the rearm pads (I got 3 kills with 1 bomb drop :D ). There's something about catching planes on the ground while you're carrying eggs, during a scenario, that just makes you feel all warm and gooey inside... :)

Ah...THAT was your mistake. The only place that could launch GVs at 35 was 32, so we only went there to kill the VH. Vulcan was having so many orgasms looking at all those -67s on the runway he missed his drop. Ocatvius is still on the young side of puberty and nailed the VH perfectly. :D
