Title: phophorous bombs?

was just reading a book about south pacific ww2 battles and they mentioned giant arial phophorous bombs droped from zekes as a anti bomber wepon . this is the first i have read of such a thing. anyone know anything about them ? the explosion was described as incredible.

The germans also used air to air bombs .
