My first go at posting on this topic, but I love guessing the pics. so much, I thought I'd throw one in. I'm sorry I don't know how to post pics yet.
I know this one cause it took me some lookin to find out the plane and it bugged me till i found it.
Clue
1) I am an amphibious biplane that went into service in 1934.
2) I starred with Peter O'Toole in a movie. (with some great stunt flyin , I might add)
....maybe I better wait on another clue, knowin how smart u guys are.

You drew that? That's cool.
Me and a pal of mine are working on a small biz. selling original aviation prints. He has some good work, mine is not yet quality enough for sale, not aviation stuff anyway, toooo many dang angles! Drives me crazy.lol. I like trees, hehe.
I could show ya some if ya give me your email, actually anytime you can get an opinion from a fellow aviation buff, (and artist), it's always welcome.

The JF-2 was painted overall gull gray. Some Navy Ducks were quite colorful especially when in "Neutrality Patrol" colors, see below.
