For being a BMW.. a Z4 with a 6L motor whoa :) This thing I would actually buy. Too bad it would prolly carry a price tag from hell.

You guys are just jealous. Hell BMW liked the GDA so much they copied the lights and grille for their Mini.

Lemme see some retro. Enough of Bangle... I want to see E30's and E34's littering the streets again.
-
Seriously, what's up with the bloated front end? Is that some kind of attempt to get an extra high CG or something?
Or is it just an attempt by BMW to hide the tall strut towers of yet another sedan chassis under a "sports car" body?
-
It may be the precursor to the new hood hieght regulations that are supposed to be effective in Europe by 2005/2010.
You dont even want to know what their proposing... but if it goes through, the 'sports car' as we know it will be gone.
-
I think you're right, it does look like some of the Photoshops I've seen of cars that would meet the new regs. The Horror...
-
I love the front, but I hate the short rear end. Elong the rear like a Jaguar Type E and I'm happy enought.

My favorite BMW is still the original M3, followed by the M635CSi.

You mean body-wise? (all 3 series are based off the M3 body) If so, which? E36? E46? Or do you mean engine and body?
-
Gimme this one and I will be happy. Oh yeah, I need that face spray so when I go really fast I won't be thrown into another dimension. :D

I think by 'original' he means the E30 chassis with the delicious S14.
Am I the only one that thinks that the E30 M3 interior was the best design... ever?
-
I meant the original M3, the first version they made. The one that was actually a Group A homologation car. It won the DTM and was also a decent rally car.

Ah, yes, the 1987...very nice! 300-bhp M3 won eight international titles in its very first season. Acceleration to 62 mph in just five seconds and the top speed, depending on the transmission ratio, is about 174 mph.
Edit: Oops, 87, not 85.
