You gotta come up here some time for the Historics. :)
I didn't run into too many celebrities this time. Just Leno and Alain de Cadenet (guy who got buzzed by the Spit in that vid I posted). All the big names were in the Ford tent I guess.

I gotta get up there one year. Can't believe how many GT-40's were there...and would have loved to seen that 62 Ferrari 250 GTO.
Was never impressed with the Mustang-wannabe-Cobras (well,..maybe the 69GT500, only because you could smoke the wheels down to the carcass before getting out of first gear), but there were some very nice cars in there.
-
Yeah I think there were 6 Mk. IV's alone.
The GT 350 was a pretty accomplished racer in domestic and global competition. Remember it was a homologation special, series of "production" cars built to qualify for an FIA racing class. The GT 500's weren't raced IIRC.
Those two results charts were just two of the 15 races. They had everything from pre-1910 Fords to early 1980's turbo F-1 cars.

Didn't see any Gremlins or Mavericks in the list of cars.

We have our Historics race in the first 3 days of the first week end of July. Something definately not to miss.
-
no Gremlins? and you call them Classics... bah!
-
Well, the Gremlin is sure a classic MT, however it is more in the "Oops" category than the "Sports Car" category. :)

A Javelin almost won the Trans-Am race.
