Most of the new motherboards have a 1394 interface/hub on them.  Sometimes it is referred to as firewire.

There should be firewire (IEEE1394) drivers on the CD that came with the motherboard.  They will either be seperate, or part of the chipset drivers.

If not on the motherboard there may be one on your audio card. The Audigy comes with firewire I believe.

yep, iron, the audigy comes with one port on the back of the box and one on control plate (the one that goes over an empty drive bay)
